Pocket Watch Ticks

Pocket watch ticks

Front porch whittle sticks

Black and white flicks

Back when measles made us sick

Like I said boy

You gotta strike while the irons hot

Gee thanks Dad

I really have learned a lot

Caught in the moonlight

Shoot her in her eye

I’ll start the fistfight

You be the good guy

It’s really been quite a day

I wish you’d all just go away

There’s nothing much left to say

Thanks for helping me waste away

Now I’m into the grave

Blah, blah, blah, blah, Jesus saves….
